Wouldn’t it be nice if you could just turn on the tap in your shower and have hot water a few seconds later? For many, this is just a fantasy, since their water has to travel all the way from their water heater to the tap, which could take quite a while in the morning. If you have a large family, it is also possible that you might run out of water, forcing you to wait until the water heater has had time to catch up. Not to mention the fact that your water heater constantly heats up water, even when no one is using it, costing you a pretty penny.
A possible solution to these problems is installing a tankless water heater. Tankless water heaters can be installed either at the tap, or at a central location to serve the whole house at once. Even though there is an upfront cost to installing one of these devices, you will save money, as well as spare yourself the inconveniences mentioned.
